Cant download autocad student version
Would love to be able to select the sporn location, is this possible? Hi Sam, thank you for your interest in Unity for Autodesk Revit add-in. There is a need to place a human model to the spot where you would like to begin moving. Open Sample Architecture Project in Revit, 2. Open your model in Revit, 2. In case of further questions, please contact support amcbridge. This app does exactly what it says on the tin. However, it would make a big difference in VR if there was a teleportation movement mechanic for people that suffer from motion sickness.
Everyone I showed this to in the HTC Vive did not like the artificial or "controller" based method of moving. Teleportation is what we use in most projects so until it is implemented, I will not be able to use this plugin unfortunately. Hi, thank you for your interest in Unity for Autodesk Revit add-in. The proposed idea about adding teleportation will be taken into consideration while planning future releases. It works but i have not the ability to pass through the doors and windows. I think It's because I m french while Unity for Revit want the words "window' and "door" : what do you think about that and is there a solution?
Your feedback is valuable for us! Works like a charm. Makes revit to VR very easy. I do have 1 question: How does lighting work? Currently default brightness value is used for all lightings and there is no way to customize it. Please do not hesitate to contact us on support amcbridge.
Hi, first of all thank you very much for this great app! It could be very interesting to be able to open the scene into Unity to modify stuff and parameters like physics and interaction. Is there any way to import 3D model with physics building's into Unity? But the export of 3D model from Revit to Unity project is not supported.
Thanks for a great plugin! Hi Jacobus, thank you for your interest in Unity for Autodesk Revit. And is it possible to send this file so they can also view or is it just on the local machine? The latest version is sooo much better!
Great job! In just a few minutes you can walk or fly around your model for inspection or presentation. Can't wait for future releases. Hi Brian, thank you for your interest in Unity for Autodesk Revit. I have just tested it with small sections of buildings and it works great. It would be nice to be able to get the Unity file so I can edit that as needed. Hi Sergey, there is parameter "height of hero" which is equal to 6 feet And it is not possible to pass through windows and doors if height is lower than that fixed value.
Unfortunately, now that height value is fixed and cannot be customized. In case that doesn't help, please contact support amcbridge. Hi Victor, please contact support amcbridge. This app is a great idea as I have manually converted Revit models to Unity and it is not a simple process. Unfortunately after every export Revit appears to be frozen, it does not say not responding but I cannot click anything in Revit.
Also most the models I try export wont load in the viewer after either stuck loading or load into nothing. I have only got one model to work which was great but would be a great tool if it worked all the time. Hi Bryce Cromar. First of all regarding your issue with frozen Revit. Regarding your issue with models.
It was great now for walk-throughs but would like to have the revit model exported into unity and ready to work on it further. Hi Sai Meghasyam K. Export Revit model into Unity project will be implemented in future releases.
Good day! Dear support please can you tell me how to implement the ability to pass through the Windows and doors! Hi Andrey Gaga! I really like this app for being able to give you a look inside of your designs. I like to use it to double check the feel in side my buildings. The time that it worked it was very useful. Unfortunately there's just too much working against this app.
If you want to exit to continue modelling in revit you can not re-enter without restarting revit. While it could be a great asset in the design process this app is just too inefficient to be part of a workflow. But more importantly the app regularly 1 in 5 times for me becomes buggy and won't operate.
Once this happens the only way to get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall. As mentioned above, even after installation it would become 'buggy' again within the hour.

Message 1 of 8. What should I do allow a complete download. Thanks, Tommy Solved! Preview file. Message 2 of 8. CDay not an Autodesk consultant. Message 3 of 8. Alfred, Thanks for your reply. Good luck. Danijel Z — November 17, Thanks for the review and info on ports, Louie. Can you tell us your experience with battery life of the tablet?
Luis — November 19, Battery Life … a BIG negative. Went online tonight and did a little multitasking too. Unless something better comes up, I most likely keep it. Andrew Hradesky — July 10, I have. I also have a gb microsd card installed and a Microsoft wireless mouse on it too.
Both work like a champ! Luis — November 16, Impressive how easy it was to set it up. I was up and going within 15 mins. Windows 10 Home edition was pre-installed and it walked me right through the setup, including my Wi-Fi, Google acct, email and more.
I connected my bluetooth mouse via USB which made my right click a breeze. Tomorrow I will give you the full specs. Let U know tomorrow. Thanks again. Luis — November 13, I should receive it Wednesday the 15th. Anyway, once I receive it … if you have any questions regarding the tablet, please feel free and let me know.
Thanks Again, Louie Jr. Danijel Z — November 13, Thanks, Louie. It would be great to have your impressions about the device as some kind of a user review on this section of the page. Luis — November 12, Danijel Z.
I really appreciate your feedback. So here it is, Android or Windows? I like both. Do a little writing, 2. Keep organized, 3. Shop and manage my personal accounts etc. Also, browse the internet to read articles and sometimes a little YouTube too. A plus with Android is … I can sync between my devices … phone, tablet, and TV stream boxes, all of which run on Android platforms.
But keep in mind that in the near future I am planning on buying a windows desktop. LOL Thanks in advance!! Louie Jr. Danijel Z — November 12, If all the apps for the tasks you mentioned are available on Android, then an Android tablet may be a batter choice for you than a Windows tablet like this RCA Cambio WSA23T1S because of simplicity, better touch-input optimization, lower computing load, and smaller storage footprint of Android.
Windows would be maybe better for writing you mentioned, as well as other tasks which are easier to complete with a mouse and keyboard. Also, Windows is better if you multi-task a lot. And preferably a fast processor, like newer octa-core CPUs. Newer Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets have these features.
OK, thanks a bunch. I guess I am going with this tablet in question. I will keep you up to date with my purchase. I am really interested in buying this tablet. I happen to come across a review involving a RCA tablet with nearly the same specs ran kinda sluggish after it updated and installed Win He claimed it took up most of the resources and how it took nearly 2 hours to download and update win Updating from Win 8.
Terry — November 11, This type of tablet usually has micro HDMI. DeadlyScorpio — December 1, Luis — November 11, Hi, Are you able to use a mouse? If so, does the right click feature work as it does on a PC? The tablet features a full PC Windows version with right click support. I am really interested in buying this. Roger — November 10, A tablet without Wi-Fi would be useless. David Christensen — December 26, Kirn Gill II — May 30, The Cambio I bought a couple of years ago was great in many respects.
The 6 hours is standby time according to RCA when I complained about only 2. And I just cant decide between Android and Windows. I like Windows better but Android has way more apps. Title optional. Enter a URL optional. Choose a file. Save Review. Save Question.
