Purchased apps not downloading
It seems it's just the bandwidth. Anne Frank took about 7 hours to download. I'll just have to be patient for now. As long as they eventually get there I can live with it. I thought it might be an internal problem. I'm having the same problem with downloads failing, but I have a very stable and fast connection, and zero problems with any other devices in my house, and I had zero problems with my Quest 1.
It seems like after about an hour of downloading while in sleep mode, the downloads fail. I've been able to download smaller apps, but it seems like anything that's much more than 1gb fails.
Been trying over and over with no luck. I even changed the auto-sleep setting to 4 hours, and tried to download bigger apps last night over night, but nope Any help please?? To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I just made some purchases in the iTunes store several TV series.
I left the PC for a little while to give them time to start downloading, but when I came back about an hour later, there is no sign of them in my library. I tried "check for available downloads" but that reported "no downloads available", as it always does. I went back to the store to make sure the purchases had gone through.
The TV series said "purchased". There is a cloud icon next to each episode, so I guess that is how I can download them. But is this really the way we're supposed to download purchases - manually, one episode at a time? Isn't there some way to download the whole season that I've bought? Finally, since "check for available downloads" never finds any available downloads, what is it for?
Posted on Oct 11, PM. Tap it and sign in with your Apple ID. Learn what to do if you forgot your password. Learn what to do if you can't open the App Store. In the App Store, try to update the app manually. You might need to have a payment method on file, even if the app that you want to download is free.
You need some some storage space for breathing room too. That will result in a slower device. What I mean is that your parent might have implemented parental control to restrict purchase, download or installation of new apps and games. Parents can be annoying but what can you do. Well, ask your parent if this is true and if it is, plead for your life. You will want to go back as soon as you hit adulthood.
I am not talking about resetting entire iPhone. Reset network settings. That will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks and you will have to re-enter passwords. Keep that in mind. You may try and Erase All Content and Settings. That will take iPhone to its factory settings, the way it was when you first booted it. You can then restore everything from a backup. You will be asked to enter your password or passcode you can proceed. If nothing else is working for you, then the only way left is to contact Apple support.
After that you should have enough space for new apps on your iPhone and hopefully the problem has been resolved. If all else fails, then you might have to contact Apple support for further troubleshooting. Enya is a writer at supereasy. A job that combines her two great loves: writing and shopping.
